The most important thing to know is what is expected of you to succeed, and the most important thing to do is communicate openly and honestly with your probation and pretrial services officer. The officer's greatest responsibility is the protection of the public. That means we will assist you in acquiring assistance and resources, but we will also monitor your conditions and activities to ensure that you are in compliance with the Court's order or expectations, while treating you with respect and dignity as outlined in our Charter for Excellence document.
