Welcome to Eastern Tennessee U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services, where we serve with United Strength, United Vision. This district is one of the largest in the United States. Our headquarters office is located in Knoxville. We also have offices located in the federal courthouses in Chattanooga, and Greeneville.
An officer conducting fieldwork in our district can experience the challenge of locating a residence in a small, remote rural community; visiting a high-rise metropolitan condominium, and discussing available community resources with someone experiencing great hardships in the heart of a low-income area of a large city - all in one day! Bureau Of Prison facilities are located in Nashville and Memphis Tennessee.
Our Vision is to exemplify the highest level of innovation, ideals, leadership, and standards while setting the national benchmark for United States Probation and Pretrial Services. As a District, we focus on the individual strengths each employee brings to the job each day to accomplish our mission. Our goal is to assist defendants and offenders in recognizing how they can best use their own strengths to lead successful, meaningful lives.
